INDIANAPOLIS — A person died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle on the southeast side of the city, according to police.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded around 1 a.m. to the 8800 block of U.S. 31 South, near East County Line Road, following reports of a crash. Upon arrival, officers discovered a person who had been hit by a vehicle.
