Philadelphia Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a man dead late Saturday night in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. on the 5800 block of Alter Street, where officers found a 28-year-old man who had been shot in the back of the head. He was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
