Police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking along the southbound lanes of I-95 in Ridley Park, near the Philadelphia International Airport, early Sunday morning.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 3 a.m. on September 7, 2025, between Wanamaker Avenue and Stewart Avenue.
Multiple police departments responded and gathered at a Royal Farms store in Ridley Park as they conducted the investigation. Officials confirmed that they located the vehicle involved, which is now in police custody.
However, investigators have not confirmed whether they have identified or located the driver and have not said if any charges will be filed.
Authorities are also working to identify the victim and determine why she was walking along the interstate at that time.
