NEWARK, N.J. — Police are investigating how a 3-year-old boy with autism sustained bruises and contusions on his first day in a new classroom.
Alexandra Dominguez said her son had no injuries when she dropped him off Tuesday morning at the Early Childhood Center at Quitman Street Community School. However, when she picked him up at 3:15 p.m., he was injured and visibly upset.
Authorities are looking into the incident to determine how the injuries occurred.
