WILMINGTON, Del. — A 68-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested Saturday night for his sixth DUI offense after driving off the road on I-95 northbound near Marsh Road, according to the Delaware State Police.
Around 10:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025, troopers responded to reports of a disabled tan Ford Explorer. Upon arrival, they found David Tillman, of Chester Township, Pennsylvania, standing beside the vehicle.
Troopers immediately recognized Tillman from previous DUI-related encounters, including a recent arrest. During the interaction, officers observed signs of drug impairment. Tillman refused to perform field sobriety tests and was taken into custody without incident.
A records check revealed that Tillman had five prior DUI convictions.
He was transported to Troop 1, charged, and later arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11. Tillman was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $10,001 secured bond.
