LOS ANGELES — Authorities discovered a second body inside a vehicle at a tow yard in South Los Angeles on Tuesday, just one day after a decomposing body was found in an impounded Tesla reportedly registered to rising music artist D4vd.

The latest discovery was made at Al’s Towing on St. Andrews Place, where investigators focused on a Honda sedan with a burnt rear, according to aerial footage from AIR7. It remains unclear when or why the Honda was towed to the yard.

This comes after Monday’s grim find at a Hollywood tow lot, where police recovered a body stuffed inside a bag placed in the front trunk of an impounded Tesla.

Details of the First Incident

  • The Tesla, carrying Texas license plates, had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for several days before being towed.

  • LAPD responded after a foul odor was reported, leading to the discovery of a dismembered, heavily decomposed body inside the vehicle.

  • The car is registered to David Anthony Burke, better known as D4vd, a 20-year-old viral music artist from Hempstead, Texas.

  • Authorities clarified there is no evidence connecting the two bodies or linking them directly to Burke.

About D4vd

  • D4vd, known for his hit songs “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide”, rose to fame on TikTok and is signed under Darkroom and Interscope Records.

  • He’s currently on his “Withered World Tour”, with a scheduled performance in Minneapolis on Tuesday and a Los Angeles show planned for Sept. 20.

  • His debut album “Withered” dropped in April 2023, and his last social media post on Sept. 8 announced a deluxe album release.

Authorities have not released the identities of either victim and say there is no confirmed connection between the two tow yard deaths. The investigations remain ongoing.
